Some AID-associated autoantibodies appear earlier than clinical manifestations, such as those associated with systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis, antiphospholipid syndrome, and type 1 diabetes, which may exist for many years before clinical diagnosis.

Kidney Injury refers to a disease in which the kidney is damaged to different degrees leading to abnormal kidney function or function loss, which can be divided into Acute Kidney Injury and Chronic Kidney Injury according to clinical manifestations. Acute Kidney Injury (AKI) is a sudden decline in kidney function, resulting in the retention of urea and other nitrogenous wastes, as well as dysregulation of extracellular fluid volume and electrolytes, and may be accompanied by oliguria (<400ml/24h or 17ml/h) or anuria (<100ml/24h). Normally the symptoms are hidden in the early stage, and tend to occur in the elderly, people with diabetes, hypertension, kidney disease, etc. The incidence of AKI is 3% ~10% in general hospitals, 30% ~ 60% in intensive care units, and the mortality rate of critical AKI is as high as 30% ~80%.

Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) is an autoimmune disease characterized by erosive arthritis that can occur at any age. The basic pathological manifestations of RA are synovitis, pannus formation, and gradually the destruction of articular cartilage and bone, eventually leading to joint deformity and loss of function, which can be complicated by lung diseases, cardiovascular diseases, malignant tumors and depression.

Salivary Glycogen-6 (KL-6) is a sensitive, specific, early and noninvasive marker for the diagnosis of interstitial pneumonia

KL-6 was first identified in Japan. In the presence of interstitial lung disease (ILD), the alveolar epithelial cells of the patient proliferated significantly, resulting in increased expression of KL-6 on the alveolar surface. At the same time, damage to the basement membrane of the alveolar leads to increased vascular permeability, so KL-6 can be tested  in the blood.

A large number of studies have shown that serum KL-6 has high specificity and sensitivity for the diagnosis of interstitial lung disease (ILD), and continuous monitoring can be used as an important indicator to evaluate ILD activity, severity and prognosis.

Creatine Kinase Isoenzyme MB (CK-MB) is a sensitive marker of myocardial injury. The blood level increases 4-6 hours after myocardial injury and can reach a peak level 24 hours later for 2-3 days. It has been widely used to diagnose myocardial injury and evaluate the efficacy of thrombolytic therapy.
