Creatine Kinase Isoenzyme MB (CK-MB) is a sensitive marker of myocardial injury. The blood level increases 4-6 hours after myocardial injury and can reach a peak level 24 hours later for 2-3 days. It has been widely used to diagnose myocardial injury and evaluate the efficacy of thrombolytic therapy.
Advantages of CKMB-mass
- Solve the confusion of inverted CK results: Based on the direct recognition of CK-MB by monoclonal antibodies, antibody specificity determines that it is not interfered by CK-BB and giant CK.
- No affection by temperature and storage time: Samples were tested twice a day for five consecutive days, and the results confirmed that the detection by CK-MB MASS assay was more stable than that by the activity assay as shown in Figure 1.
- High diagnostic efficiency: The sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value and area under ROC curve of CK-MB MASS in the diagnosis of acute coronary syndrome (AMI) were superior to that of active detection; For infants and tumor patients, the false positive rate of CK-MB quality detection was significantly lower than that of CK-MB activity detection.
